Whit ails, whit heals

Whit ails, whit heals: Ce qui afflige, ce qui appaise is a paperback, tri-lingual anthology of Christine's poetry translated into French with English and Shetlandic versions.
While some poems in this collection are written in English, most are in Shaetlan, a minority tongue spoken in Shetland. To add to the linguistic texture, all the poems are translated into French.
In his wonderful translations, Le Disez displays his talent for balancing meaning and sound and shares the same commitment to language, particularly to minority tongues.
